Hdfc Bank

Our branch is at 474, Block 13 in Lodhi Colony, New Delhi 3. It’s a very recognizable part of the city with those wide roads and the old-fashioned architecture. This Hdfc Bank location is right in the middle of a residential block, so we see a lot of the same faces every day. It’s not a massive building, just a standard ground-floor space. Inside, we have the counters for the tellers and a few desks for the officers. It gets quite busy in the mornings when the local residents come in to do their banking. We have the usual stuff like a water cooler in the corner that always seems to need a new bottle. The floor is that old stone tiling that stays cool in the summer heat. We spend a lot of time on our computers, but there is still plenty of paper moving around. The security guard at the door has been with us for a long time and knows most of the regulars by name. Sometimes the printer jams right when we have a queue, which is always fun. Outside, there is a bit of space for parking, though it fills up fast. It’s a very local feel here. We are just doing our jobs, counting cash, and checking forms. Lodhi Colony is a nice place to work because it’s a bit greener than other parts of Delhi. We just keep things moving as best we can every single day.
