Hdfc Bank

Working here at Hdfc Bank in this part of New Delhi near the Haryana border is interesting. The address is 110027 so we are right in that zone where things are always moving. It’s not one of those glass towers you see in the movies. It is just a practical space where we handle things every day. Some days the air is thick and the traffic outside makes a lot of noise but we stay focused on what needs doing. We have a small staff and we all know each other's lunch habits. There is a small tea place nearby that we frequent. The building itself is straightforward. We don't have any flashy signs or anything too bold. It is just where we are located. Sometimes customers come in with a lot of questions and we just talk through things until it makes sense. It gets dusty because of the construction that always seems to be happening on the roads around New Delhi. We spend a lot of time just keeping the place tidy and making sure the computers are running right. It’s a bit of a commute for some of us coming from further into Haryana but you get used to the rhythm of the trains and the buses after a few months. It's just a regular job in a regular part of the city. We aren't doing anything revolutionary, just keeping the books in order and staying busy through the afternoon.
