Hdfc Bank

This branch is located at house number B 51A in Raghubir Enclave. It is right in the middle of a residential area, which makes it feel very different from those big bank towers downtown. Most of the people who come in are our neighbors. They come to deposit their savings or ask about their passbooks. We know many of them by name, which is the nice part of working in a place like this. The office is basically a converted house, so it is a bit cozy. We have the counters set up and a small waiting area with a few chairs for the elderly folks. It gets very busy on the first of the month when everyone gets their pensions or salaries. We have to work fast then, counting bills and stamping forms as quick as we can. Sometimes the air conditioner makes a weird rattling noise, but we just ignore it. We aren't here to give big speeches about finance; we are just here to help people manage their money without too much fuss. It is a lot of paperwork and data entry, but it feels good to help someone out when they are confused about a form. We just keep our heads down and do the work honestly. It is a quiet street, but the bank stays busy.
