Our office is up on the Iiird Floor in Saket. It is a decent spot in New Delhi-17, though the stairs can be a bit much if the lift is acting up. Hcl Technologies has a lot of people coming in and out of this building. Saket is always moving, and you can hear the city noise even from the third floor. We have our desks set up and it gets pretty quiet when everyone is focused on their screens. There are no big windows with views of the park or anything, just the usual office walls and some files stacked up. We usually grab lunch from the small shops nearby or bring something from home. It is not a corporate showroom; it is just where the work happens. Sometimes the internet is fast, sometimes we have to wait a bit. We try to keep the place tidy but with so many people, there is always a stray paper or a coffee cup somewhere. New Delhi-17 is a good area to be in, even if the parking around Saket is a total nightmare most days. Most of us take the metro or a rickshaw to get here. We are just a team doing our bit in this corner of the city. We don’t do anything flashy, just sit down and get through the tasks assigned for the day. The Saket area has changed a lot over the years, but our building on the third floor stays pretty much the same. We just keep our heads down and work.
