You can find us over at D-298 in Nirman Vihar, Delhi. This area is always bustling with activity, especially since the metro station is close by. Our office isn't one of those massive glass towers. It is a more modest building where we handle BPO work. Inside, it's mostly rows of desks with headsets and monitors everywhere. It can get pretty loud when everyone is on a call at the same time. We work different shifts, so some of us are here late at night when the rest of the city is sleeping. The air conditioner hums in the background all day and night. We have a small corner where we keep the water cooler and a microwave for heating up our tiffins. The furniture is a bit worn out from all the use, but it’s comfortable enough for a long day. We don't really have any posters or fancy decorations on the walls, just a few notices and schedules. Most of us have been working together for a while, so we know each other's habits. We take our breaks in small groups and walk down the street to get some fresh air or a snack from the street vendors. It is a busy life, but it’s what we do. We just focus on the calls and the data and try to stay on top of the workload.
