Haveli Restuarants & Benquets

We've been at 163-D, Pocket-C in Sidthartha Extension for a while now. It's a bit of a quiet corner of New Delhi-110 014, but we like it that way. Most days, we get here early to open up Haveli Restuarants & Benquets. You can hear the traffic from the main road if you listen close enough, but inside it is mostly just the sound of the kitchen starting up and the staff talking about their morning. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but they have character. We spend a lot of time arranging chairs and making sure the tables are straight for whoever might come in. Sometimes the delivery guys get lost looking for Pocket-C because the signs are a little faded and hard to read, but they eventually find us. We have been at this address for a long time, so the neighbors all know us by name. There is a small tea stall just down the lane where we go for our breaks when things are slow. The sun hits the front door around three in the afternoon, which makes the whole place feel warm and a bit sleepy. We keep a ledger on the front desk that is almost full of scribbles. The floor tiles have a few cracks near the entrance from years of people coming through the doors. It is just a normal day-to-day operation here at 163-D. We do our work, talk to the regulars, and wait for the sun to go down.
