Haveli Banquet Hall

Haveli Banquet Hall is on the first floor of building 132 in Mohammadpur. We are right near Bhikaji Kama Palace, which is a very busy spot in Delhi. The hall is where we host a lot of local functions and small gatherings. Since we are on the first floor, people have to walk up the stairs, but it is not a long climb. We spend a lot of time moving chairs around and setting up tables for whatever is happening that day. The area outside is always crowded with cars and people going to the palace area. It can be quite loud with the horns honking, but once you are inside the hall, it is okay. We have some lights on the ceiling that we turn on for parties. The kitchen area is where most of the work happens behind the scenes. We keep the floors swept and make sure the bathrooms are clean before guests arrive. It is a practical space for the neighborhood. We don’t have a lot of staff, just a few of us who do everything from fixing the fans to helping with the decorations. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a hard time parking on the street because it is so narrow. We just deal with it as it comes. It is a local business and we know a lot of the families around here. We just hope the food is hot.
