Even though our name says New Delhi, we are actually based out of Varanasi. It’s a different pace of life here compared to the capital. Our workspace is located in a part of the city that stays busy from dawn until late at night. The building is older, with thick walls that keep things a bit cooler, though we still rely on the fans quite a bit. Inside, you’ll find maps pinned up and notebooks scattered across the tables. It’s a bit messy at times, but we know exactly where everything is. We spend a lot of time talking to people who are just passing through or trying to figure out their next move. The street outside is narrow and usually crowded with cycles and people, which is just part of the charm of being in Varanasi. We don’t have a formal lobby or anything like that. People just walk in, and we find a chair for them to sit on while we talk. The smell of tea from the shop next door usually drifts in during the afternoons. It’s an honest, hardworking atmosphere. We don’t try to be anything we aren’t. We just focus on the logistics and making sure the details are sorted. It’s a small operation, run by people who actually live here and know the streets. We just keep at it, day after day, from our little office, making sure the job gets done right.
