Our business is located in Sector-6, Noida, at E-28. This part of Noida is very industrial, with a lot of warehouses and factories around us. We focus on handloom products that we send to different places. If you walked into our office, you would see stacks of fabric samples and boxes everywhere. It’s not a very neat place, but it’s where we do our work. We’ve been in the export business for quite a few years now. The team is small, mostly people who have been with us for a long time and know the difference between all the different types of weaves we handle. We spend a lot of time checking the quality of the items before they get packed into the big shipping crates. It can get very hot in the warehouse during the summer months, so we usually have the big fans going all day. We deal with weavers from different parts of the country and then we handle all the paperwork to get things sent abroad. It’s a lot of back-and-forth communication. We aren't a high-tech company with fancy systems. We still use a lot of notebooks and physical lists to keep track of everything. It’s a hands-on kind of job. We just try to keep the business moving and make sure the orders are shipped on time for our customers.
