Handling International

We’re over at Krishna Park in New Delhi, running Handling International. It’s a busy neighborhood and we fit right in. Our work involves a lot of logistics and moving things around. It’s a lot of coordination between different places and people. Some days the phones don't stop ringing from morning till night. We started this because we knew how to handle the shipping and receiving side of things. It’s physical work sometimes, and lots of paperwork other times. We don’t have a fancy mission statement or a polished brochure. We just make sure things get to where they need to go without too much trouble. The office is usually a bit messy with labels and manifests lying around. That’s just how we work best. Being in Krishna Park is convenient for us. We know the local drivers and the guys at the warehouse down the road. It’s a community feel even though we deal with international stuff. We’ve had some tough days when shipments get delayed at the port, but that’s part of the job. You just deal with it and try again tomorrow. We aren’t the biggest outfit in Delhi, but we’re reliable enough for the people who use us. Just a group of people who know their way around a cargo manifest. We like the honesty of the work. No fluff, just moving boxes and managing schedules every day. That's what keeps us going.
