Habitat World

Habitat World is located at 538 Aliganj, right in the Lodhi Colony area of New Delhi. It’s a pretty well-known spot because of all the events and cultural things that happen nearby. Our part of the operation is tucked into the neighborhood, and we spend our days managing the facilities and making sure everything is ready for whatever is happening next. It’s a mix of office work and actually running around the building. We deal with everything from room bookings to event coordination. The building itself has that old Delhi charm, but it also means there’s always something that needs fixing or painting. Our team is a bit of a mixed bag; some have been here for decades and others are just starting out. We don’t have a formal corporate culture. It’s more like a busy household where everyone has a specific job to do. During the peak season, it gets incredibly hectic and we barely have time to sit down for a meal. Other times, it’s a bit quieter and we can catch up on all the paperwork that’s been piling up on our desks. We like being in Aliganj because it’s central and has a lot of history. We don't bother with fancy mission statements. We just try to keep the place running smoothly so that the people who come here have what they need. It’s a lot of work behind the scenes that most people never see. We stay here late often doing the cleanup. It's our usual routine.
