Habitat World

We've been over here at C6/47/2 in New Delhi for some time now. It’s a busy part of town, especially during the mornings when everyone is trying to get somewhere at once. Habitat World is basically where we spend most of our daylight hours. It isn't a fancy glass building or anything like that. Just a regular spot where the work gets done. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but they've been that way since I started. We just focus on the tasks we have for the day instead of worrying about how the lobby looks. Some of the folks who live nearby in Haryana probably see us walking to the chai stall often enough. It gets hot in the summer, but the fans keep things moving. We deal with all sorts of things throughout the day. It’s mostly just the usual office stuff, keeping track of files and making sure people get what they need. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and other times it's quiet enough to actually hear yourself think. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone to write fancy words for us, so this is just how it is. If you're looking for our place, it’s tucked in there near the other blocks. It’s nothing out of the ordinary, really. Just a group of people trying to keep things organized. We show up, do the work, and head home when the sun goes down.
