H S Auto Electricals has its spot at Plot No 1/61 in Singh Motor Market, right over in Ram Bazar. If you know Mori Gate, you know it’s basically the heart of anything to do with vehicles. There’s always the sound of engines or someone shouting across the street. We’ve been working out of this small plot for a while, dealing with wires, batteries, and all those small electrical bits that keep a car running. The shop floor is usually covered in some grease or bits of wire, and there are tools scattered around because someone is always in the middle of a job. It isn't a place for sitting around and looking clean. We get a lot of mechanics coming by to pick up parts for their customers, and occasionally a driver pulls up because something stopped working under their hood. My hands are usually dirty by ten in the morning, and they stay that way until I go home. We don't have a lot of space for customers to hang out, just a small stool if someone really needs to wait. The market is loud and can be stressful if you aren’t used to it, but for us, it’s just where we work. We keep our stock in the back and try to keep track of what’s running low. It’s a lot of manual work, checking connections and making sure the parts fit right. Sometimes we have to hunt for an old part that nobody makes anymore.
