We sit here in Laxmi Nagar at J&K 155. It’s a busy part of Delhi. We spend most of our time looking through piles of papers and talking to people who need jobs. Being a recruiter means the phone rings a lot. Sometimes it's someone fresh out of college, other times it's someone with twenty years of experience just wanting a change. We don't have a big fancy office with glass walls. It's just a regular spot where we try to match a name to a vacancy. Delhi is huge, so there are always companies asking if we know anyone good. Laxmi Nagar 110092 is where we are every morning by 9 or 10. The traffic around here can be a bit much, but we like being in the middle of it. We deal with all sorts of industries. Some days are slow and we just drink tea and sort through emails. Other days, we have people coming in back-to-back for interviews. We’ve been at this address for a while now. It’s not a complicated business. Someone needs a worker, someone else needs a paycheck, and we just try to get them in the same room. It’s a lot of talking. Sometimes we help with resumes if they look a bit messy. It's just regular work for us. We know the local area well and how hard it can be to find the right fit in such a big city like this one.
