We operate out of G.L. House in Gautam Nagar, right behind that Indian Oil station everyone knows. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes because we share the space near the Nrai School of Mass Communication. Being around all those students makes the whole area feel pretty lively and energetic, even if the traffic in New Delhi-49 is a total nightmare most of the time. Most of our day is spent on the phone or staring at booking screens that haven't been updated in years. It's not glamorous work by any means, just making sure people get their tickets and their travel plans sorted out without any errors. We’ve had this little office for quite some time now. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint and the furniture is a bit mismatched, but we're usually too busy with the stacks of paperwork to really worry about that. People often drop by just to ask about bus times or simple flight details, and we just tell them what’s available on the screen. It’s practical, everyday work. We know all the little shortcuts around the back lanes when the main road gets blocked by a protest or a stalled truck. Sometimes the internet acts up when it rains, and we all just have to sit and wait it out with a cup of hot tea from the vendor outside. We aren't a big flashy agency, just H L Travels, doing what we can from this small corner of the city.
