H & A Travels

We are based in New Delhi and run H & A Travels from here. It’s a travel business but we don't do the fancy stuff you see in magazines. We mostly help people figure out how to get from one place to another without too much trouble. It started small and we’ve just kept it going because people kept asking for help with their tickets and trips. The phones ring quite a lot during the day and we spend most of our time on the computer checking schedules. It’s a lot of back and forth with airlines and trains. Sometimes the systems go down and we have to wait around, which is frustrating for everyone. We aren't a massive company with hundreds of employees, just a few of us sitting in the office trying to make sense of travel plans. Delhi is a big place and it can be confusing to navigate, so we try to simplify things. There is always some paperwork to file or a booking to double-check. We don't have any big speeches about what we do. We just book the seats and send the emails. Most of our work comes from people telling their friends about us. It’s a quiet office for the most part, except when the traffic outside gets too loud in the afternoons. We just focus on the task at hand and try to get people where they need to go without any unnecessary delays or problems.
