Gurpreet Auto Electricals is found in Sadar Bazar, specifically inside the Chudi Market near the Old Subzi Market. It is one of the busiest parts of the city. There are always people moving about and the noise never really stops. Our shop is where we do electrical work for all kinds of vehicles. We have been in this spot for a long time. The floor is usually covered in bits of wire and the shelves are packed with starters and alternators. It’s a dirty job and our clothes usually show it by the end of the shift. We don't have a fancy waiting area or air conditioning. Customers usually just stand nearby while we work on their cars or bikes. Sadar Bazar is a tough place to navigate, but we have a lot of regulars who know exactly where to find us in Chudi Market. We don't do any advertising. We just rely on the fact that we've been here for years. The work is hard and the hours are long, especially in the summer heat. But we are used to it by now. We don't have any corporate goals or big presentations. We just fix the electrical problems people bring to us. It’s a simple business and we like it that way. We stay at the shop until the last job is finished for the day. That is the way we run things here.
