Our place is Shop No 487/61 in Pira Garhi. It is not a very big space but it works for us. Most people find us because they are already in the area for other things. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we never seem to get around to it. There is always something else to do. We have a small desk near the front where we handle the paperwork and talk to whoever walks in. It gets quite hot in the summer months because the fan doesn't reach every corner. We’ve been at this address for a long time. The street outside is usually blocked with some kind of delivery truck or a rickshaw. You get used to the noise after a few years. Sometimes the electricity goes out for an hour and we just sit outside on the steps. It’s a quiet life inside the shop even if the market is loud. We have some regular people who stop by just to say hello on their way home. We keep the stock in the back room and on the high shelves. I have to use a ladder for the stuff at the top. It’s just me and one other person here most days. We don’t have a website or anything like that. Just this physical spot in Pira Garhi where we show up every day and do our work. It is simple and we like it that way. Most of the neighbors are friendly enough.
