Our place is right at House No. 25 in Adchini. It’s an easy spot to find if you’re in this part of New Delhi. We’ve been working out of here, handling tours and travel plans for quite a bit. The office feels more like a house because it actually is one. We sit at our desks and figure out itineraries for people who want to go somewhere new. Sometimes the tea runs out way before the work does. It gets really busy during the vacation months when everyone wants to leave at once. We have maps pinned everywhere and old folders stacked up on the floor. It isn’t some polished corporate space with a receptionist. It’s just us doing our jobs in 110017. Most people who come in are from the neighborhood or heard about us from a friend. We spend a lot of time on the phone with hotels and bus drivers. The traffic on the main road can be loud, but inside we just focus on the computer screens. We don’t do big fancy presentations or use glossy brochures for everything. We just write down the details and hand over the papers. It’s a practical way to run things. We like being in Adchini. It has a good, solid feel to it. Every day is a bit different depending on where someone wants to go. We keep things moving and try to stay organized as best as we can manage with all the phone calls coming in.
