Greeland Carriers Pvt Ltd is based over at B-66 Street Number 6 in West Vinod Nagar, Delhi 92. We’ve been operating out of this street for quite a while now. It’s a typical Delhi neighborhood with narrow lanes and lots of activity throughout the day. You can usually hear the sound of scooters and people talking right outside our door. We deal with transport and moving things from one place to another. It’s physical work and a lot of logistics involved. We spend a lot of time on the phone with drivers or checking where the trucks are. The office is small and a bit cluttered with papers and logbooks. We don't have fancy furniture or decoration. Just some sturdy desks and chairs that have lasted us years. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when several things happen at once, but we usually figure it out. We don't use a lot of big talk about excellence or global reach. We just try to get the loads delivered on time. Most of us have been working together for years, so we’re more like a group of friends than just coworkers. We share lunch most days and talk about what’s going on at home or in the neighborhood. It’s a simple operation. If you come by, you’ll probably find one of us drinking tea and looking at a map or a schedule. We just do the work that comes our way and try to stay organized.
