Gravity Restro-Lounge, Sec-26 Noida

Running a place like Gravity Restro-Lounge keeps us on our toes all the time. Even though we are associated with Sec-26 in Noida, you can find us over at D-39 on Reids Line, right by the University of Delhi. Being near the university means we see a lot of students and young people. It’s usually pretty loud and full of energy. We spend most of our mornings getting the kitchen ready and making sure the seating is all set. The floors need constant cleaning because of all the foot traffic. It’s a lot of work to keep a restaurant going, and things break more often than we’d like. We don’t have a big corporate manual or anything. We just figured things out as we went along. Some days the music is a bit loud, and other days it’s a bit more relaxed. We like the mix of people that come through the doors. The staff here is like a small family, mostly because we spend so many hours together in a cramped space. It gets hot in the kitchen during the Delhi summers, but that’s just how it is. We aren’t trying to be the fanciest place in town, just a spot where people can hang out and eat. It’s a tough business, but seeing the place full on a Friday night makes it worth it. We just hope people enjoy the food and have a decent time while they are here.
