Grand Travels

You’ll find us at Flat Number 7 in Govind Market, which is over in the Haidar Pur area of Delhi. It’s a local market, so it’s always full of people buying groceries or stopping for snacks. Our office is just a simple room where we handle travel bookings and arrangements. It’s not a large space, and we usually have the walls covered with calendars and some photos of places we’ve helped people visit. We don’t put on any airs here; it’s just a desk, some chairs for people to sit while they wait, and a computer that’s seen better days. Haidar Pur can be a bit of a maze if you aren’t from around here, but once you get to Govind Market, everyone knows where the flats are. We spend most of our time on the phone or talking to people who walk in from the market. It’s a lot of manual work, checking schedules and writing down details in our ledgers. Sometimes the tea boy from the corner brings us a round of drinks while we’re working through a pile of paperwork. We’ve been in this market for years, and we’ve seen shops come and go, but we’re still here in Flat 7. It’s a small, honest business and we just take things one day at a time, making sure people get where they need to go. The market gets really loud during the festivals, and sometimes we can't even hear the phone ringing over the music outside. We just laugh it off and try to call people back when it gets a bit quieter. It’s part of the charm of being in Govind Market. We’ve got an old sofa in the corner that’s a bit lumpy, but it’s a good place to sit and think. We don't have any fancy brochures or digital displays, just the same old maps we’ve always used. It’s a simple life in Haidar Pur, and we’re happy to be a small part of this neighborhood. We just keep our doors open and wait for the next person to walk in.
