Grand India Tours

Our office is actually just a quarter in Bokaro Steel City. We are over in Sector 4/E, specifically Street 11, Quarter Number 2085. It’s a quiet part of Jharkhand, mostly families and people working at the plant nearby. Grand India Tours isn't a massive agency with a storefront in a mall. We run things from here, surrounded by trees and the usual sounds of the neighborhood. Planning trips and helping people with their travel takes up all our time. We sit at the desk and look at maps or talk to people on the phone for hours. Sometimes the monkeys come by the window and we have to make sure everything is shut tight. Bokaro is a planned city, so everything has its place, which makes it easy to give directions. If you find Street 11, you basically found us. We have lived in this sector for years, so we know every corner of it. It’s a bit different running a tour business from a house, but it feels more personal that way. We don't have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy stuff for us. We just know where the good trains are and which hotels are actually clean. People come by, we have some water or tea, and we talk about where they want to go. It’s a basic setup that works for us and the people who live around here in 827004. It’s a steady way of life and we wouldn't have it any other way, even if it gets a bit slow sometimes in the monsoon.
