Gracious Welcome

You can find us at 105 Satya Niketan, which is right over by Moti Bagh-2 in New Delhi. This area is always full of energy because of all the college students living and studying nearby. Our place, Gracious Welcome, is a small spot where we host guests. It is not a luxury hotel by any means. It’s an older building that we’ve tried to keep in good shape over the years. We have a few rooms that we rent out to people who need a place to stay while they visit the city or look for housing. The rooms are simple—just a bed, a desk, and the basics. We do most of the work ourselves, like checking people in and making sure the towels are fresh. It’s a very hands-on business. Sometimes the plumbing is a bit temperamental or the Wi-Fi acts up, and we have to go in and fix it. We don't have a big staff or a fancy website. Most people find us because they want to be near the university area without spending too much money. In the evenings, the street outside is busy with food stalls and people walking around. It can be a bit noisy, but that’s just the character of Satya Niketan. We’ve lived in this city for a long time and we like being part of this neighborhood. We just offer a straightforward place to stay for whoever needs it.
