Godrej

The Godrej office here is located on the second floor of the DDA Flats at J-3/277 in Kalkaji. Being in a residential block makes the workplace feel a bit more like home than a cold office building. We have the usual stuff you’d expect, like desks and chairs and some filing cabinets pushed against the walls. New Delhi-19 is a busy pin code and Kalkaji is always buzzing with activity. We can hear the kids playing outside sometimes or people shouting down the street. It’s a bit of a climb up to the second floor since there is no lift, so we all get our exercise for the day. We handle various tasks for Godrej from this spot, mostly administrative things and keeping track of the local requirements. It’s a simple setup and we like it that way. We don’t have any big signs or flashy lights. If you didn’t know the address, you might just walk right past the flat. We usually have some tea in the afternoon and talk about the news or what’s happening in the neighborhood. It’s a small team and we’ve worked together for a long time now. We aren’t trying to be anything we aren’t. We just show up, do the work that needs doing, and head home when the day is done. The DDA flats are old but they have a lot of character, and we are quite content working from here.
