Gmr Infrastructure

In Salur, things move a bit slower than the big cities, and our office for Gmr Infrastructure is right in the middle of it. The address is Dr.No- 22-1-111/1 which can be a bit tricky for delivery drivers to find the first time. It’s a standard building in Andhra Pradesh and it gets quite hot during the summer months. We keep the windows shut to keep the dust out from the road. Most of the day is spent looking at papers and talking on the phone. We have a few desks that have seen better days but they do the job. There isn't a big sign outside, just enough so people know where we are. Sometimes the power cuts out and we just sit and wait or talk for a bit until it comes back on. It’s a small group of us here. We know the neighbors pretty well and sometimes we share a snack in the afternoons. It’s not a corporate headquarters with glass walls. It’s more of a local hub where we keep things moving. We try to keep the place organized but with all the files and folders, it’s hard. The floor is easy to clean which is good because people are always walking in and out. By the time 5 or 6 o’clock rolls around, we are ready to close up. It’s a simple life working in infrastructure out here in 535591.
