Gmr-Airport Project

The office for the Gmr-Airport Project is located in Masudpur Village, which is part of the Vasant Kunj area in New Delhi. We are set up at A-38, care of Bhim Singh. This isn't a typical glass-and-steel office building; it’s more of a local setup right in the village area. Because we are working on the airport project, there is a lot of coordination with engineers and site managers. We have a lot of blueprints and large-scale maps rolled up in the corners. The dust from the road often finds its way inside, so we are constantly dusting off the desks. Vasant Kunj is a busy part of town, but Masudpur has its own specific feel, a bit more tucked away. We spend a lot of time on the phone or out on the site itself. There are always people coming in and out with hard hats or safety vests. It’s a practical workspace meant for getting things done rather than looking pretty. We have a simple desk for the computer and a few chairs for meetings. The power goes out occasionally, so we have to be prepared for that. It’s a busy environment where we are focused on the logistics of the construction and the timelines. We handle a lot of the paperwork that comes with such a big project, making sure everything is filed under the right postal code for the Vasant Kunj office. It’s just how we run things day in and day out.
