Globotel Pvt Ltd operates out of a Type-3 quarter, number 88, in Sector 2 of the B.H.E.L Township in Jhansi. Working inside a township is a bit different from being in the middle of a city. It’s quieter and has a very specific feel to it. We deal with telecommunications and related services. Since we are in the B.H.E.L area, most of our neighbors are also working for the big plant or related businesses. Our office is basically a modified residence, so it’s not very big. We have our equipment and a couple of desks squeezed in. It’s a practical setup. We don't need a lot of space to do what we do. In Jhansi, things move a bit slower, and we like it that way. We aren't trying to be a global corporation, despite the name. We just focus on our local contracts and making sure the connections stay up for everyone. Sometimes the power cuts out, which is a pain, but we have backups that usually kick in. We’ve been in Quarter 88 for a long time. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but the work gets done every day. We aren't big on marketing or fancy slogans. We just show up, check the signals, and handle the paperwork. It’s a steady job in a steady town. We like the peace and quiet of the township life.
