About Globe Ground India Subsidiary Of Lufthansa – Tourism in Delhi
Working out of 466 Sector 9 in R K Puram, Globe Ground India handles a lot of the behind-the-scenes stuff for Lufthansa. It’s a busy office, mostly filled with people on phones or staring at flight schedules on their monitors. Since we are a subsidiary, there is always a lot of paperwork moving back and forth. The neighborhood here in New Delhi is usually pretty active, so there’s always noise from the street coming through the windows. We spend a lot of time coordinating things that most passengers never even think about. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find plush carpets or fancy art on the walls. It’s more about desks pushed together and stacks of folders that need to be filed. We have our tea breaks in the afternoon, which is usually the only time the office gets a bit quiet. Some of us have been here for years, and we’ve seen the way the industry changes, but the daily routine at Sector 9 stays mostly the same. You get used to the rhythm of the work and the specific way the lights flicker in the hallway. It’s just a regular workplace where everyone is trying to keep things moving on time. We don't really do much in the way of public visits, as most of our business happens between us and the airport teams.
