The office for Globe Ground India is tucked away in Sector 7 of Dwarka. We are specifically over at Plot No. 12A in the Happy Home Apartments, in unit C-204. It’s a bit unusual being in an apartment complex instead of a big glass building, but it works for us. Since we’re a subsidiary of Lufthansa German, there’s always plenty to do, but the vibe here is much more relaxed than at the airport. You walk into the complex and it feels just like any other residential area in Delhi. We have our desks set up and the coffee machine is usually running. Dwarka is a busy place these days with all the new shops and the metro nearby. Getting here in the mornings can be a bit of a crawl through traffic, but once you’re inside the gates of Happy Home, it’s quiet enough to actually get some work done. We handle a lot of the behind-the-scenes stuff that people don't really see when they’re flying. It’s just a group of us sitting in a converted apartment, making sure things stay on track. Sometimes it feels more like a home than an office because of the kitchen and the balcony. We’ve been here for a bit now and the neighbors know us. It’s a practical way to run things without the overhead of a fancy downtown suite. We just focus on the daily grind and keeping our paperwork in order for the team.
