Ginger Hotel(Tata Group)

Living and working in Dehradun has a specific pace, and being at 66- Rajiv Colony puts us right in the middle of it. We are near the Vidhan Sabha, so the area stays quite active. At Ginger Hotel, which is part of the Tata Group, we don’t really go for anything over the top. It’s mostly about making sure the rooms are ready and the guests aren't waiting too long at the desk. The weather here in Dehradun changes fast, and that usually dictates how our day goes. If it’s raining, we spend more time inside fixing things or helping people with their bags. We’ve been at this spot for a bit, and the staff knows the neighborhood well. You can find us usually handling the check-ins or checking the kitchen supplies. It’s a straightforward job. We don’t use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just provide a place to stay and try to keep the lobby clean. Being in Rajiv Colony means we see a lot of local traffic and people heading toward the government buildings. It’s a practical location. Sometimes the internet is slow or the power flickers, but that’s just how it is here. We just deal with it and keep moving. It’s an honest day’s work for all of us here. We like the mountains being so close, even if we are busy inside most of the time.
