G.I. Limited

We’ve been operating out of Vikas Puri in New Delhi for quite some time now as G.I. Limited. It’s not a huge operation with hundreds of people, just a steady one that gets the job done. We mostly focus on getting the orders out on time and keeping the inventory straight. The space we have isn't the biggest, so we have to stay pretty organized or things get messy fast. Some days the delivery trucks block the whole lane outside, and we have to run out and move things around so the neighbors don't get mad. It's a bit chaotic but we manage to make it work. We don't really have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy stuff for us. We just make the products and sell them to people who need them. The people working here have been around for years. We know each other’s families and what’s going on in the neighborhood. It’s a very local feel even though the company name sounds a bit formal. New Delhi is a tough place to run a business sometimes with the heat and the constant power cuts, but we keep the generators ready. We don't try to be something we aren't. We just do the work, count the boxes, and go home to our families at night. If you come by Vikas Puri, you’ll see us there, probably loading up a van or checking a shipment. It’s honest work.
