You can find us on the fourth floor of building 507 in Chirag Delhi. It’s a bit of a climb since the lift doesn't always work like it should. We do infrastructure work, mostly planning and some site visits for local projects around the city. The office is basically just one big room with maps pinned all over the walls. It’s messy, but we know where everything is. New Delhi is always building something, so we stay pretty busy with all the projects. We’ve been in this spot for a while now. The view from the fourth floor is just other rooftops and some trees, but it’s okay for us. We have a few draftsmen and a clerk who handles the phones. We aren't a big firm with hundreds of employees. It’s just a handful of us who have been working together for years. We usually have lunch together at the desk. The traffic in Chirag Delhi is a nightmare around five, so we usually stay late to avoid it. It’s not a polished place. We have stacks of blueprints everywhere and the AC makes a weird humming noise that we just got used to. But it’s where we do our work. We just take one project at a time and try to get it finished right. That’s how we operate here every single day. We like the neighborhood even with the noise and climb.
