We are over here at the D.D.A. Flats in Madangir. It is a busy place, honestly. Most days we are just sitting at our desks in 23/688 trying to get through the paperwork and the calls that come in. New Delhi is always loud and the traffic outside these flats is something else. We have been in this spot for a while now. It’s not a fancy glass building like you see in the movies, just a regular place where we do our work. Some of us have been here since the start and we know the tea stall guy downstairs pretty well. He makes a decent cup when the afternoon slump hits. We deal with a lot of data and things like that. It gets a bit cramped when everyone is in at the same time but we manage. The air conditioner makes a weird clicking sound sometimes but it keeps us cool enough during the summer months. There is always someone coming or going. We don’t really do anything flashy. It’s just us doing what needs to be done every day. Sometimes the internet goes slow and we all just look at each other and wait. That is how it goes here in Madangir. We just keep moving forward with whatever the day brings. It is a long walk from the main road if you don't catch an auto but we like it well enough.
