Genpact, Gurgaon

Our place is over at E-204 in Sarita Vihar, New Delhi, though we have ties to the Gurgaon side of things too. It’s an office where things are always moving, mostly because there’s always some work that needs to be finished on a deadline. We spend a lot of time at our desks, typing away or talking on the phone with people from all over. It’s a mix of different people here, some who’ve been with us for years and others just starting out. The commute can be a bit of a pain depending on the traffic, but we all manage to get here eventually. We have a tea break around four, which is when the kitchen gets pretty crowded. You’ll hear a lot of talk about projects and what happened over the weekend. We don’t really do anything fancy; we just handle the business tasks that come our way every day. The office isn't overly decorated, just plenty of computers and some files stacked up here and there. We try to keep things organized, though sometimes the paperwork piles up faster than we can sort it. Living and working around Sarita Vihar means we see the local markets change and the traffic get worse every year. It’s just a regular workplace where we put in our hours and go home. We don’t really have a big speech about what we do, we just show up and get the job done. Our desks are a bit messy but the work gets finished.
