Our office is located at F-164 in Sudershan Park which is a part of New Delhi with a lot of narrow streets and houses close together. It is a BPO setup so the main thing you will notice if you walk in is just rows of desks and people with headsets on talking into their computers. It is not a flashy workspace with glass walls or anything like that, it is just a functional place where we get our tasks finished every day. The air conditioning is usually running pretty loud to keep the server room cool and there is always a stack of papers somewhere that needs filing. We have a small area where the staff takes their breaks and usually there is a kettle going for tea or coffee. Sudershan Park is a busy neighborhood so there is always some kind of noise coming in from the street like kids playing or someone selling vegetables from a cart. We have been here for a while and the routine is pretty much the same every week. We start in the morning, log into the systems, and work through the calls and data until it is time to go home. It is a regular job for everyone here and we don't try to make it sound like something it isn't. It is just a workplace in a residential part of the city where we try to do our best with the tools we have.
