Our office is at 417, New Vidhayak Avas on Aish Bagh Road. We are in the Rajendranagar area of Lucknow. It is a busy part of the city, especially near the government housing. Garjiya Travel is the name we use. The office itself is pretty simple. We have a few plastic chairs for people to sit on while they wait. The walls are a bit bare, maybe just a map of the state and a clock that’s five minutes fast. We talk to people about their travel plans all day. It’s a lot of phone calls and checking schedules. The noise from the street is always there, especially the rickshaws. We have a small corner for making tea, which we do often. It’s not a high-tech operation. We still use a lot of paper and keep everything in big files. The building 417 is easy to find if you know the landmark. We don't have a team of people in uniforms. It’s just us in our regular clothes doing the work. Sometimes the lights flicker when the load is high, but we just keep going. It’s a decent place to work and we know the neighbors well. We don't have any fancy mission statements. We just open the doors and help whoever walks in. That is how we do things here in Lucknow.
