Garima Plastics

Garima Plastics is tucked away in Ashok Vihar Phase II, right on Shiv Mandir Road in the Shastri Nagar area. If you know where the temple is, you can find us pretty easily. We have been here for a long time, surrounded by piles of plastic buckets, tubs, and storage containers. The shop is always full of bright colors—reds, blues, and yellows—stacked up to the ceiling. It’s a bit of a maze inside. I spend my mornings checking the inventory and making sure we have enough water bottles and lunch boxes for the school rush. The road outside can get pretty hectic, especially during prayer times at the temple, but we just keep doing our thing. It isn't a high-tech operation. We just sell things that people actually need for their homes. Sometimes the plastic smell is quite strong when a new shipment arrives from the factory. I usually have to move a bunch of stools just to let someone walk to the back of the store. It’s a local business through and through. I know most of the people on this street by name. We don’t put on any acts; we just show the items and tell the price. It’s practical work. My hands are usually a bit dusty from handling the crates, but that's just part of the job here. We stay open until the street goes quiet at night.
