Ganpati Travels

Our place is at 9/211 in Fort Kochi, right in the Velli area of Cochin. It is a beautiful part of the world to live in, even if it gets very humid. We run things from a small office that doesn't look like much from the outside. Inside, it's mostly just us, a few chairs, and some maps of the local area. We help people who want to see the sights or just need a car to get to the next town. It's not a complicated business. We talk to drivers, check the vehicles, and make sure the timings work out for the guests. Sometimes the rain in Kerala makes things difficult and we have to change plans quickly. We don't have a website with flashy photos or anything like that. Most people just walk in or call us because they saw our sign. We've been in Fort Kochi for a long time, so we know all the shortcuts and the best places to stop for a meal. It's a local business through and through. We don't try to be something we aren't. We just want to make sure people get where they are going safely and without spending too much money. It’s a quiet life for the most part, punctuated by the arrival of tourists and the sound of the nearby water. We just keep things moving, one trip at a time, every single day.
