You can find Galaxy Tours & Travel at 50/1 in Gautam Nagar. It is a small shop right on the street level, so it is easy to walk in from the sidewalk. We have some old posters on the walls showing different parts of the country to give people ideas for their trips. Mostly, we sit behind the two main desks and help whoever comes in looking for a ticket or a bus booking. We have a few computers that we use to check the prices and timings for flights and trains. It gets a bit dusty because the door is usually open to let in some air. Gautam Nagar is a busy place with a lot of students and people working nearby, so we get a fair amount of walk-in traffic. Some days are very busy with everyone wanting to travel at the same time, like during the holidays. Other days, we just sit and drink tea while waiting for the phone to ring. We have a small cupboard where we keep all the brochures and ticket books. We don't use any fancy software, just the basic websites that everyone else uses. It is a simple travel shop where we try to help people figure out how to get from one place to another without spending too much money. We’ve been in this same spot for years.
