We've been at 2208 Kucha Alam Chand for quite a while now. If you know Kinari Bazar in Chandni Chowk, you know how busy it gets around here. Our shop is right in the thick of it. Most days it’s just us handling things, making sure stuff gets done for the people who walk through the door. It’s a bit of an old building, but it works for what we do. Delhi 6 has a certain way of working, and we’re just part of that rhythm. We don't really do fancy things or try to be something we aren't. People come by, they ask for what they need, and we try to help them out as best as we can. It’s loud outside usually with all the rickshaws and people moving about, but inside we just focus on the work at hand. Some customers have been coming to us for years, and we know them by name. It’s not a big corporate setup, just a local business trying to keep things moving. We open up in the morning, deal with the stock or whatever tasks are on the list, and stay until the sun goes down. If you're wandering around the lanes of Chandni Chowk, you've probably passed by our spot without thinking much of it. That’s okay with us. We just keep our heads down and do the daily grind. It’s honest work, and we’ve been at it long enough to know the ins and outs of this area.
