If you spend any time in the Kirti Nagar Timber Market, you’ll probably eventually pass by 4 Lotus Interior at 13516. This area is famous for wood and furniture, and we fit right in with the rest of the shops. The air around here always smells like freshly cut sawdust and wood stain, which is something you just get used to. Our shop isn't a fancy showroom with perfect lighting. It’s more of a working space where we have samples of different materials and sketches spread out across the tables. We spend a lot of time talking to carpenters and suppliers to make sure we have the right stuff for whatever project is on the go. It’s a busy market, so there’s always trucks loading and unloading right outside our door. Sometimes it’s hard to hear yourself think over the noise of the saws, but it’s the heart of the industry here in Delhi. We handle the interior side of things, trying to make sense of how a room should look and what pieces will fit best. It’s a lot of measuring and re-measuring to make sure we don't make any mistakes. We’ve been here for a while and have seen many styles come and go. We just stay focused on the wood and the work, day in and day out.
