Fun Cinema

Our cinema is located over at 23-A New Layal Pur, right on the edge of Delhi and Haryana. It is a place where we spend most of our time making sure the projectors are running right and the floors aren't too sticky from the last show. We have a small team here, and most of us have learned how to do a bit of everything, from selling tickets to fixing the popcorn machine when it acts up. The weekends are always the craziest time, with families coming in and kids running around the lobby while they wait for their movie to start. It gets loud and a bit chaotic, but that’s what you expect at a movie theater. During the weekdays, it’s much quieter, and we usually take that time to do all the maintenance work that we can’t do when the place is full. We’ve been at this New Layal Pur spot for quite a while now, so we know a lot of the regulars who come by every time a new film comes out. The seats aren't brand new anymore, and the lobby could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it feels like home to us. We just want to make sure the movie plays on time and the sound is loud enough for everyone to hear. It’s a simple job, really, just making sure people have a place to sit and watch a show for a couple of hours.
