Front Office

Our place is in Mahipalpur, specifically in Fateh House. If you know the area, it's pretty busy because the airport is so close, so there’s always noise from the planes and the cars on the main road. Our office is what we call the Front Office. We don't have a big corporate setup or anything like that. It's just a simple room with a couple of desks and some chairs that have seen better days. We handle a lot of the basic stuff that comes through the door. People stop by all the time, some looking for work and some just asking where they can find a good meal nearby. We spend most of our day on the phone or writing things down in big ledgers to keep track of everything. It’s not a high-tech place, but it gets the job done for us. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we haven't gotten around to it yet. We like it here because it’s right in the middle of everything. You can hear the sounds of the street all day long. We don't have a fancy mission. We just show up in the morning, make some tea, and start working on whatever needs to be finished. Most of us have been working here together for a few years, so we know how to help each other out. It’s just a normal workplace with normal people.
