About Front Office-Cum-Administrative-Executive – Tourism in Delhi
I work out of Q-7-A in Jangpura Extension, New Delhi. This is more of an administrative setup than anything else. My job is basically to keep the wheels turning for the office. I handle the front desk, which means I'm the first person people see when they walk in. Usually, it's just delivery guys or people coming for meetings. I spend a lot of time filing papers, answering the phone, and making sure the supplies don't run out. It’s the kind of work that nobody notices until something goes wrong. If the printer breaks or we run out of coffee, everyone comes to me. Jangpura is a nice area, a bit quieter than the main city parts, which I appreciate. My desk is usually covered in sticky notes and folders. I try to keep things organized, but it’s a constant battle against the mess. There isn't much corporate fluff here. We just have a job to do and we do it. I don't write fancy reports or anything; I just make sure the records are correct and the messages get to the right people. Some days are slow and I end up staring at the street, but other days I don't even have time to breathe. It’s just a normal office job where you learn to deal with a lot of different personalities. We don't have any big slogans, just a lot of work to get through by five o'clock.
