We are over in Govind Puri, right in the Kalkaji area. It is a busy spot. Most days we are just handling the front desk stuff, managing schedules and talking to whoever walks in through the door at 1678/3. It is not a huge office, just a practical space where we keep things moving. Sometimes the street outside gets really loud with the traffic, but we are used to it by now. People come to us when they need someone to organize their paperwork or handle the initial greetings for their own businesses. We have been here in New Delhi for a while. It is mostly about keeping the logs straight and making sure the phone does not ring for too long without an answer. The staff here knows the neighborhood well. We grab tea from the stall nearby and usually get back to the files. It is not anything fancy, just a desk and a couple of chairs and a lot of lists to check off. We do not really do the big corporate speeches. We just show up, open the shutters, and start working on whatever tasks are piled up from the day before. Kalkaji is a good place to be because everything is close by, even if parking is a bit of a nightmare sometimes. We just focus on the work right in front of us, one person at a time, until the day ends and we finally head home.
