We handle things over here in the 110092 area of Delhi. It’s a busy part of the city for sure. Our days usually start early when the first loads of parcels arrive. There is a lot of sorting to do, and the floor is usually covered in boxes and envelopes of all sizes. We spend a lot of time checking addresses and making sure things are bagged up for the delivery riders. The bikes are always coming and going out front, and there’s usually a bit of an argument about which route is faster. It’s loud and there’s always someone looking for a missing pen or a roll of tape. We’ve got a small desk where we keep the logs, but it’s mostly covered in tea cups and old receipts. The fans on the ceiling spin all day but it still gets dusty with all the cardboard moving around. People come in to drop off packages and they’re usually in a hurry, so we try to move fast. We don't have fancy furniture or a nice lobby. It’s just a warehouse style setup with shelves pushed against the walls. Sometimes a package gets a bit crushed, and we have to tape it back up. It’s a lot of physical work, lifting and moving stuff until our backs ache. We just try to get everything out before the sun goes down and the gate closes for the night.
