Friend Brothers

Friend Brothers has been around the Bara Bazaar area for a long time. Our address is 1140, Prem Gali, right in the middle of the Kashmere Gate chaos in Delhi. If you know the area, you know how tight the lanes are and how many people are moving through there every single day. It’s a noisy, busy place but it’s where we belong. We deal with whatever comes through the door, mostly handling things in the market. It’s an old building, nothing like the shiny malls you see in other parts of the city. We have shelves full of stock and a few chairs for people to sit if they need to wait a minute. The 110006 area is full of history and loud voices. We don't really do fancy marketing or have a big website. Most people find us because they’ve been coming here for years or someone told them about us. It’s about being there at the shop, opening up the shutters in the morning, and dealing with the traders and customers. Sometimes the electricity goes out or the rain makes the Gali a bit messy, but we just keep the shop running. It’s a family-style vibe even if we aren't all related. We just do our work, drink our chai, and make sure the orders are packed up. It is a very real, very local way of doing things.
