Freelancer

I'm working out of a spot in Pitampura, specifically at Dp-157. It's a decent area of New Delhi, though the parking can be a real headache if you come at the wrong time of day. Most of the time it's just me here handling things as a freelancer. The office is really just a part of the building that I’ve set up with a desk, a laptop, and a decent enough chair because I spend a lot of hours sitting there. There isn't any big sign outside or a lobby. It’s a pretty quiet setup for the most part, except when the neighbors are loud or there’s construction going on nearby, which seems to happen a lot in this part of town. I’ve been here for a while and I know the local market quite well. If I need a break, I usually just walk down the street to grab a tea or some snacks from the local shops. It’s not a corporate environment at all. It’s just a practical space where I can focus on my tasks without too many distractions. The walls are plain, and the shelves are mostly filled with old files and some books I’ve picked up over the years. It’s a simple life, really, just getting the work done day by day and keeping track of everything myself. Living and working in Pitampura has its own rhythm, and I’ve just gotten used to it over the years now. It's my own space.
