I work out of my place in Greater Kailash Enclave 1. It’s E 57. Being a freelancer means I don’t have a big office or a team of people running around. It’s just me and my laptop. I set up a small desk in the corner of the room. It’s usually quiet here, which helps when I need to focus on a project. I don’t have a boss looking over my shoulder, but that also means I have to handle everything myself, from the actual work to the billing and fixing the Wi-Fi when it goes down. Some days I’m working late into the night, and other days it’s a bit slower. I’ve lived in Delhi for a long time, so I’m used to the pace here. I try to stay organized, but sometimes my desk gets covered in notes and coffee mugs. There’s no lobby or receptionist. If someone needs to reach me, they usually just call or send an email. It’s a simple way to work. I don’t have any big corporate goals. I just take on projects that I can handle and try to do a decent job on them. Living and working in the same spot has its pros and cons. Sometimes it’s hard to stop working, but at least I don’t have to deal with the Delhi traffic every morning. It’s just my small setup here in GK. I keep things basic and focused. That's how I've always done it. It’s a quiet way to earn a living.
